Fuzzy Rug vs Bamboo Rug
I am at a loss of ideas on how to rug the place up.
Rugs on a rug is in, I hear.
I was going to go with the "Vitten" Flokati rug from Ikea:
But it doesn't withstand a lot of foot traffic and I'm worried that since I KNOW my boyfriend and I will be spending a lot of eating time on the couches instead of the kitchen, it will get very stainy, very quickly. I was thinking of getting one in brown, but I can't find an authentic brown 5x7 flokati rug for under $200.
So, a while back I came across on bedbathandbeyond.com a 5x7 natural bamboo rug with brown trim for $99 (total $117.00 with shipping.) It was out of stock online and all of the store products were damaged. I gave up on the idea.
I've seen it on other sites for cheaper but with shipping costs.
However, I just received a notice that it has been re-stocked!
If you take a mail-order item to BBB with those 20% coupons they always send out, they discount the item at the store. Making it about $100 again.
